IIDA - Metropolis Smart Environment Awards 2009.
It is a competition for professionals. Any professional architect or interior designer can submit their built projects completed in 2009 or the project which has never been published before. Winning projects may get the chance to be presented at USGBC's Greenbuild Expo 2009 in Phoenix, USA and will be published in the Metropolis magazine and Metropolicemag.com.
Any type of interior design projects are valid for submission.
Deadlines: Deadline to Request an entry kit is September 24th, 2009. Deadline to submit completed entries is October 9th, 2009

It is going to be the first tribute to Bauhaus at MoMA since 1938. The upcoming exhibition “Bauhaus 1919–1933: Workshops for Modernity” is going to be the first major show in the United States on the subject in decades.
A collaborative consortium of three Bauhaus archives at Dessau, Berlin and Weimar are going to supply their bests to MoMA later this year for the exhibition. The diverse array of exhibits sets this exhibition one of the most important exhibitions on architecture this year.
